Principal's Corner

Dear Clifford Community,

 

I am grateful for the opportunity to be the principal of Clifford Math & Tech Magnet.  I have worked for LAUSD for 22+ years as an elementary teacher, Categorical Programs Advisor, Title III Instructional Coach, Instructional Specialist, and Assistant Principal.  My career journey has allowed me to serve communities in the USC, Gardena, and Highland Park neighborhoods at Dual Language, Local Initiative School (LIS), Affiliated Charter, and Magnet model schools.  I am inspired by great teaching and community partnerships.

 

I have been serving the Clifford students, families, and staff since November 2020 and it continues to be the highest privilege and honor working in this wonderful Echo Park community.  In my time at Clifford, we have built new community support, increased school safety / security, and our state test scores (Spring 2022) are in the top 3 highest performing elementaries in the Glassell Park / Los Feliz Community of Schools.  Our stakeholders are passionate about our work to support our families and community.  Our staff is committed to doing our best to provide a positive, engaging school experience.  Welcome to Clifford, we are so happy you're here.
